As every fabricator is aware, the advent of WERS to the Australian window standards is the best opportunity there has been in years to get away from price being the only determining factor in window quotes.
Both State laws and public pressure are ensuring a better performing product is supplied to the home owner, even if the order is from a builder who is not the eventual occupier.
In response to this, and in conjunction with the AWA, Soft Tech Australia has enhanced their Compliance Module to provide Star Ratings automatically with every quote, and, most importantly, has made it easy for a Fabricator to provide a higher rating product as an up-sell.
Soft Tech Compliance module, as well as covering wind load and human impact, now allows you to differentiate your product and ensure your customers are comparing apples with apples when reviewing your quotes.
To enable Window Manufacturers to easily report the WERS ratings for various combinations of Frame Type, Material and Glazing materials a module within V6 has been created.
System Suppliers will be able to import data from .csv files that record the WERS Generic Product directory and the WERS Certified Products directory.
Upon completing a quotation for a house lot of windows the user can select a WERS Compliance option.
The user can view the WERS rating for each frame and the associated master data. i.e for a particular rating the system will show which Test or Generic data is being used to derive the result.
